Anton Lorenz was born 1861 in Hungary, died in Greenwich/Connecticut 1964. He was one of the first designer that developed and used cantilever principles. This chair was originally designed in 1932 and reintroduced by Tecta in 1987. The chair´s backrest, seat and footstool base is made of woven cane on a chromed tubular steel frame. Armrest is wrapped in cane as well. To complete the design, leather cushions are added for extra comfort.
